Trevor T. Starnes, M.D., Ph.D., is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon and is fellowship trained in wrist and hand. He sees patients in the Marietta, Canton, East Cobb, and Woodstock locations. Dr. Starnes also holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. His specialties include orthopaedic surgery with an emphasis on hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder surgery.
Dr. Starnes graduated from Hope College in Holland, MI with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He received his Doctorate of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and his Medical Degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and went on to complete his Hand Fellowship at the Curtis National Hand Center at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Starnes has completed many research publications, abstracts, presentations and has written several book chapters in Essential Orthopaedics. He belongs to many professional organizations and is a member of the National Eagle Scout Association.
He is married with two children and lives in the Marietta area. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, watching and playing sports, and playing the drums.
